    I’ve been to many events at Prescott in the last few years, but I have never attended the VSCC race. Due to ever-increasing interest , the entry has been expanded to run over three days and so I took the opportunity to nip along to the Friday. This is run over the long course at Prescott.

    Recently I have been reading Barry Lopez’ classic of nature writing ‘Arctic Dreams’. It is a beautifully written love letter to the frozen North and the compelling effect that it has had on humankind for centuries. There is an interesting paragraph in the prologue that really made me stop and think. In fact I keep going back and re-reading it. So I thought I would share it here.

    One of the key considerations when putting this website together was for me to have the ability to edit and add images or text easily. Mark at Pixelsmiths strongly advocated using Perch as the Content Management System, or CMS. Having listened to the Relative Paths podcast I had a some idea what Perch was capable of so I acquiesced.
